The world is falling apart around us and yet humans like Jannice exist who create art that makes you feel something. Art has never mattered more than now. A world full of ugly and yet art makes beauty unapologetic. I think the thing that truly captured my intense longing for some of her pieces was the multitude of her pieces. They are earth and orbit focuses, light slipping in through the dreads of dark.
My favourite piece was the Tropical Night Walls. There's something Practical Magic adjacent that speaks to me. The vivid blue mixed with the stark texture of the trees..? Incredible.
I stocked up on some cards and a print for my home and another for my Mother-in-law. I'm honored to of experienced the artwork, and I hope you enjoyed looking at them too. Nature is beautiful.
